Effective July 29, 2026
FieldStones is operated by TLC Investments, LLC, doing business as Stones River Electric. It is provided for authorized business use by adult employees and approved partner personnel.
These terms govern use of the FieldStones mobile and web application and supplement the written policies, instructions, and agreements of the user’s employer or partner organization. If these terms conflict with an applicable organization policy or agreement, that policy or agreement controls.
Eligibility and authorized access
FieldStones is intended only for authorized workforce users who are at least 18 years old. A user may access it only with an account provided or approved by an employer or partner organization. Accounts and credentials must not be shared. Users must promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Limited work-use license
Subject to these terms and applicable organization policies, an authorized user receives a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, and nontransferable right to use FieldStones only for authorized work. No ownership interest in FieldStones is transferred to the user.
Work records and accurate information
Users are responsible for entering work information accurately and following established procedures when recording job progress, time-related activity, location-aware steps, notes, signatures, photos, files, purchases, receipts, or completion details.
The user’s employer or partner organization controls its business and work records. TLC Investments, LLC, doing business as Stones River Electric, owns FieldStones software, design, and branding and retains all rights not expressly granted in these terms.
Confidentiality and information handling
Customer information, work orders, employee information, credentials, pricing, attachments, and other nonpublic business information must be accessed and used only for authorized work. Users must follow their organization’s security, confidentiality, records, and device-handling policies.
Location and device capabilities
FieldStones uses precise location for clock-in, clock-out, job-site attendance, time records, and related field workflows. Background location can operate while a user is clocked into an appointment. Some workflows also depend on camera, photo-library, file, network, or notification capabilities.
Users must follow organization instructions for permissions and device settings. Disabling a required capability can prevent the app or a workflow from operating.
Prohibited use
Users must not:
- attempt to access another user’s account or unauthorized data;
- share credentials or allow an unauthorized person to use the app;
- interfere with, probe, bypass, or defeat the app, its security, or connected systems;
- reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or extract FieldStones except where applicable law does not permit that restriction;
- upload unrelated, unlawful, or inappropriate material through work workflows; or
- use information from the app for an unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.
Availability, changes, and backup procedures
FieldStones features and workflows can change as operational, security, or legal needs evolve. The app may be interrupted by maintenance, connectivity problems, device conditions, or other technical issues. Users must follow established organization backup and escalation procedures for safety-sensitive, time-sensitive, payroll, scheduling, or job-site work.
Suspension and termination
An employer, partner organization, or the FieldStones operator may suspend or revoke access because of a role or employment change, a security concern, suspected misuse, policy requirements, or operational needs. When access ends, the user must stop using FieldStones and return or remove organization information as directed.
No change to employment or benefits
These terms govern application use only. They do not create or modify an employment, independent-contractor, agency, partnership, compensation, payroll, or benefit relationship or entitlement.
Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FieldStones is provided “as is” and “as available.” The operator disclaims express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. The operator does not promise that FieldStones will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available for every device or workflow.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable under these terms for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from or related to FieldStones. This limitation does not apply where applicable law does not permit it. These terms do not set a separate numeric liability cap.
Responsibility for intentional misuse
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a user is responsible for claims, losses, or expenses resulting from that user’s intentional unlawful use of FieldStones or knowing unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of information. This provision is limited to intentional or knowing misconduct and does not replace any controlling employer or partner agreement.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the extent a dispute concerning these terms is not governed by a controlling employer or partner agreement, it must be brought in a state or federal court serving Davidson County, Tennessee, and the parties consent to that court’s jurisdiction where legally permitted.
Changes to these terms
This page will show a revised effective date when these terms change. Employers or partner organizations may also use their established communication channels to provide notice of material changes.
