How FieldStones uses work-related information

A practical overview of information used to provide and support authorized field-work workflows.

Effective July 29, 2026

FieldStones is workforce software operated by TLC Investments, LLC, doing business as Stones River Electric. It is used by Stones River Electric and authorized partner personnel. An employer or partner organization provides and administers user access.

This notice applies to the FieldStones mobile and web application and to the public FieldStones website. It describes the broad categories of information handled when people use FieldStones for authorized work or visit the public website.

Information FieldStones handles

  • Account information. Information needed to identify and authenticate an authorized user, including name, email address, username or user identifier, employee or technician identifier, role, and organization.
  • Work-related data. Assigned work, scheduling context, work-order details, job progress, and time or payroll-adjacent activity entered or generated through app workflows. This can also include notes, completion details, names and signatures, purchasing or receipt information, and other job documentation.
  • Precise location information. FieldStones records location for clock-in, clock-out, job-site attendance, and related time records. While a user is clocked into an appointment, periodic location points may be collected even when the app is in the background or not actively in use. The app is designed to stop background tracking when no active time entry remains.
  • User-provided photos and files. Photos or attachments are handled when a user captures, selects, or attaches them as part of a work workflow.
  • Device and diagnostic information. Technical information used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the app can include an app-generated device identifier, device name, platform, model, operating-system version, app version, and error or synchronization details.
  • Public-site request information. Standard web server logs can include IP address, request date and time, requested URL, response status, and browser or device user-agent information.

Why this information is used

These categories support business purposes such as:

  • authenticating users and administering authorized access;
  • providing assigned work, schedules, and job information;
  • recording work activity, attendance, time records, job documentation, and completion details;
  • supporting clock-in, clock-out, and other location-aware field workflows;
  • synchronizing work performed with limited or unavailable connectivity;
  • maintaining account, application, and public-site security; and
  • diagnosing technical problems and supporting users.

Access and sharing

Information can be available to authorized personnel of the user’s employer or partner organization according to roles and operational needs. It can also be processed by personnel and service providers that operate, secure, maintain, or support FieldStones and its related business systems.

FieldStones information is not sold. This notice does not name service providers because those operational arrangements can change.

Retention

Account, location, time, work-order, job-documentation, device, and technical records are retained according to the applicable employer’s operational, payroll, safety, legal, and business recordkeeping requirements. Different record categories and organizations can follow different schedules.

Device choices

Device settings control permissions such as location, camera, and photo-library access. Background location is required for the active time and attendance workflows described above. Disabling a required permission can prevent FieldStones from being used. Photos and files are handled when a user chooses them for a work workflow.

Requests concerning information

Users can contact FieldStones support about access, correction, or deletion of information. The employer or partner organization responsible for the work record decides how a request is handled, including whether a record must be preserved for operational, payroll, safety, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.

Email webmanager@stonesriverelectric.com or visit the support page.

Security

FieldStones uses safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No storage, transmission, or security method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

Adult workforce use

FieldStones is intended for authorized workforce users who are at least 18 years old. It is not intended for consumer or children’s use.
